--------------------
Newton is displaced by Einstein. Einstein is displaced by Hawkings. Hawkings is displaced by Plague. Gravity is sooooooo serious and is displaced by... well, we'll get to that.
I'm going to let you in on a secret. I know what gravity is. I know what makes the world go around. I know the hidden truths that baffle our current scientists. Hawkings is dead wrong. Let me tell you all about... uh, almost got me started. Let's start again shall we?
This song is simple and delicate. Acoustic guitar sounds, some effects, a HUGE amount of noise candy and creative panning to displace your sense of the seen with the unseen. For crying out loud, a cello solo! For all you cool cats who like to mangle sounds and make beats check out my Ableton Live lesson in creating a Detractive Stutter that is heard in this song. My first three songs were pretty serious affairs in sonic mayhem so I created this one for balance, bring that mood back down to earth. Gravity can be serious too when you get naked. Clothes OFF people! 'Dis place has no place for clothes. This is a song for rainy days when you just want to stay inside with a bottle of red wine and make love.
Exactly. There you have it. It's a baby making song! But, of course it is. I should have said that from the start. What was I thinking? Too much red wine?
Look forward to a future message wherein I use my vast brainiac mind to scientifically prove, conclusively, beyond-a-shadow-of-a-doubt... that the moon IS indeed - a giant hulk of blue cheese!
It is I tell you! It is!
